Savannah welcomes many thousands of visitors to our historic downtown for Saint Patrick’s Day every year. We encourage you to consider the many ways you can access the festivities using our transportation services. Please review the information here to plan your St. Patrick’s Day celebration travel.
Saint Patrick’s Day
Thursday, March 17
- Express Shuttle will not be in service.
- Savannah Belles Ferry service will run from 7:00 am to midnight between Hutchinson Island and the Waving Girl Landing. The City Hall Landing will not be in service.
- Parade Shuttles: Chatham Area Transit will operate three parade shuttles with service to the Savannah Mall, Island Towne Centre, and Westside Shopping Center. Shuttles will operate between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm and round trip fares are $5 per person. Please visit the CAT website to learn more about these shuttles.
- Parade day parking and road closure information is available from Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department.
Festival
Friday & Saturday, March 18 & 19
- Express Shuttle will be in service from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. The shuttle will not stop at Ellis Square / City Market.
- Savannah Belles Ferry will operate from 7:00 am to midnight between Hutchinson Island and the Waving Girl Landing. The City Hall Landing will not be in service.
- Festival parking and road closure information is available from the Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department.
